It’s no secret that in the process of production of concrete and various concrete products (paving slabs as well), water is certainly used as the main component element. It is very important to remember that the final result and the quality of a particular structure directly depend on such water indicators as: alkalis, oils, impurities, acids, etc. P., Since it is these elements that will ultimately have the greatest influence (most often harmful) on certain properties of concrete.
To prepare concrete, as a rule, ordinary tap water is used. It is equally important in the process of preparation in a clear sequence to follow all the necessary rules and requirements, since this is what will make truly high-quality concrete, in which all relationships will be maintained.
The most optimal ratio of water to cement can be called such an attitude as 0.3-0.4 (meaning in/c). Very often such a proportion is positioned in terms of a rigid mixture. It is known that in addition to it there is another combination, or the so -called plastic mixture, for the preparation of which you need to slightly change the previous proportion. Namely, take cement and water in a ratio of 0.5 to 0.7.
